Tashi meets a princess named Sarashina who has been tied up by demons. She has not eaten and has been left to starve for two days. Tashi must decide what to do.

I like the book because it has a lot of adventure and there are funny parts which make it fun to read.
There was nothing I disliked about the book but the changes I would make would be to know more about Jack’s parents.
The genre of the book is young adult fiction. This fantastic story is part of a larger collection of 32 stories.
Children as young as 4 years old would enjoy listening to Tashi and the Demons read to them by an adult, otherwise I would recommend that children aged between 5 and 10 years would enjoy reading this book independently.
Anna Fienberg and her mother Barbara Fienberg are the authors of Tashi and the Demons. Anna was born in 1956 in England and came to live in Australia at the age of 3. She now lives in Sydney and has written 32 Tashi stories and many other books. Anna Fienberg has worked closely with the Australian illustrator Kim Gamble. Kim Gamble’s illustrations help bring the stories to life.
I give this book a score of 8/10 because it makes the reader want to know more about the story as they read. Anna Fienberg captures your imagination with interesting characters and Tashi’s bravery. Tashi always saves the day.
