Plot:

Tom Gates is a great series about Tom, an ordinary boy who lives with his mum, dad and his grumpy sister Delia. In his spare time he likes annoying his sister, playing in his band Dog Zombies, drawing in class and eating caramel wafers.

Positives:

I love how well the story flows and the drawings are amazing and so interesting. You never get bored with this book.

Negatives:

If the book had less pictures and more words would definitely make the book better.

Changes:

If the book had less pictures and more words, also making the book have more chapters otherwise it’s great.

Genre:

It’s a funny, journal like kids story.

Sort of like Diary Of A Wimpy Kid style.

Recommended Age:

I would recommend this to kid aged from 8-12 years of age.

Liz Pichon:

D.O.B.: August 16, 1963, London, England.

Liz Pichon has written kid stories including the Tom Gates series, The Very Ugly Bug, My Big Brother Boris, Bored Bill, Square- eyed Pat, Penguins and Hot Dogs And Cool Cats.
